are Ron and Martin Nater, two brothers born into a large musical family in The Hague, South Holland, The Netherlands.
In 1997 Martin joined Ron's 4-piece band Dutch Touch in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (as they eventually renamed it The Nater Brothers) to entertain with popular 60s to 90s rockin' tunes - with Ron on lead guitar & vocals, Martin on rhythm guitar & vocals, Gary Romans on bass & vocals, Joe Calabrese on drums and later on Dan Allen as lead singer for a 5-piece line-up.
With this line-up The Nater Brothers made its music in the local Toronto / Kitchener / St. Catharines area music venues 'n parties until it disbanded a few years later - while Martin ended up moving back to The Netherlands and Dan and his family moved back to the U.S.A.
So Ron started gigging with other Toronto bands and eventually formed the Ron Nater Band in 2006 with whom he continues celebrating the classics in the Ontario music clubs 'n festivals.
Meanwhile, Ron invited Martin to restart The Nater Brothers when Martin moved back to Canada in 2014 - as Martin assumed the band’s leadership while Ron has been looking after its marketing and the band has been making its encore performances with a variety of line-ups in the local clubs, pubs 'n backyards.
